Made in my backyard studio to offer beauty and calm in chaotic times.
Hi, I’m Lisa — potter-in-chief here at Spirit Fire Pottery.
My backyard studio in Sonora, CA is where I spend my happiest hours, throwing small-batch handmade pottery — pieces meant to brighten your day.
I keep things real and unapologetically boutique and handmade — no mass production here (because… boring). I make pieces you’ll actually use and love: the mug that feels just right in your hands, the bowl that turns every snack into a moment, the dish that quietly cheers you on from your counter.
Oh, and sometimes there’s a little rebel spirit mixed in… because, you know, the world.
“I consciously choose curiosity and seek out opportunities for more play.” - Lisa Hines
Welcoming the berries!
The first of this year's harvests are rolling in: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and then blackberries. Technically, it's late spring, but the early abundance of summer is beginning.
The Strawberry Moon arrives on June 3/4, depending on where you live. The moon will be in Sagittarius while the sun is in Gemini, both signs very compatible with each other, sparking spontaneity, space, and freedom.
The opposition of the moon is the sun in Gemini. Gemini loves Sagittarius' ambition and curiosity and will shout it from the hilltops, so there's not really any opposition to this full illumination of abundance and prosperity.
The Gemini and full moon energies are about the gift of gab, being the life of the party, and sharing about new ideas and ambitions.
If you're a woman over 50 and embarking upon a new income-related venture, it might be a good time to shine a light on that by speaking about it to the right people, or seek out being a guest on a podcast.
Use your voice.
Sagittarius is often depicted by the horse/man as an archer with a bow and arrow.
Summertime is here, prepping you for more play and creativity ahead. Abundantly so!
Let's enjoy some berries and abundance!
When you place a regular order, it will be packaged and shipped via USPS. It typically will take between 1 and 2 business days to package and drop off with USPS. Then, you'll receive a tracking number to see when your package will be delivered. I am located in California. You can expect shipping to take anywhere between 2 and 5 days depending on where in the country you live.
I try to be mindful about recycling and repurposing plastic packaging material, but I also may use biodegradable paper products to package up your pottery. The most important thing is to avoid any possible breakage while being delivered, so that's my priority.
At this point, I do not ship outside the US. However, if you are interested in buying my pottery and live outside the US, contact me with the piece(s) you're interested in, your mailing address in its entirety, and I'll calculate the shipping costs and invoice you.
At this point, I'm not accepting custom order requests.
